Jennifer Rene Psaki is a political advisor from America who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. As a member of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009); the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013-2015) and as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was an CNN political contributor between 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaign in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack, both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki was the director of communications to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and also as the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 to political communication serving as press secretary for President Obama's 2012 campaign for reelection. 20 Psaki quit as spokesperson for the United States Department of State, on February 11, 2013. [20] It was speculated that she was to replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21] However, Josh Earnest was announced to replace Carney on May 30th in 2014. She returned to White House as Communications Director in the year 2015 and was in place until the end.
